JOOL Health is now Kumanu

Exciting news! The company I work for has changed our name, from JOOL Health to Kumanu. We have been searching for a unique name, something free of sound-alike confusion, and Kumanu fit the bill. As Kumanu, we’re continuing to help organizations improve by developing a better alignment with an authentic purpose for the organization and the people that work for them.

I’ll continue in my current role as a senior software engineer, as we develop a new suite of tools for individuals and companies to use, that combine (along with others) to make up the PurposeCloud platform.

• Purposeful by Kumanu – a user-facing mobile application that helps individuals focus on the things that matter most to them
• A web-based analytics platform for organizations to use to view meaningful metrics and their unique PurposeGraph
• An AI driven insights engine

I’m looking forward to where we are going with Kumanu, and being part of the team that is helping to provide these tools to individuals and organizations. A strong sense of purpose is linked to longevity, less illness, better results from substance abuse treatment, greater receptivity to diversity and change. The idea that the things I’m writing make a difference to both people and the places they work is motivational.
